Can we have visitors? + -

No. Our grounds and cabins are for guests only for the enjoyment and privacy of all our guests. We limit the amount of guests to 16 on the entire property.

Are hairdryers available? + -

Yes, hairdryers are available in every cabin.

Are weddings allowed? + -

We do hold weddings on the property, however overnight stays are unavailable for weddings. If you do decide that you would like to have your wedding/reception here, rates start at $1200/hour for an 8-hour rental of the property. This includes access to two cabins for the bride and groom the day of the ceremony. Rates are dependent on season and availability. We do require for the bride and groom to have a wedding  planner. What is the cancellation policy and why do you have one? + -

Cancellation Policy

  • Within 21 days of arrival date, 100% of booking is forfeited unless we are able to re-rent cabins for nights booked, if re-rented, charges will be returned less a cancellation fee of $25.00
  • There is a $25 cancellation fee per cabin after booking
  • No charges if more than 21 days of arrival less the $25 cancellation fee.
  • Our “Flexible Cancellation” addon can be added when booking or we recommend trip insurance if you are unsure you will be staying with us during the nights you reserved or would like to account for unexpected incidents, as we are unable to refund once booked.


Why must there be a cancellation policy?

We are genuinely sorry that we must have a strict cancellation policy. We realize that this policy may come as a real disappointment and a shock to the system. We hope that you will understand that the policy reflects an extraordinary range of determining factors, including our small property size and our efforts to reserve the cabin you have booked. This business is our livelihood, and you are booking not just a cabin, but a time-slot in our destination resort where we rarely have last minute stays. We have reserved your cabin for you and turned away other bookings for the same time as a result. If you would like comfort in complete travel protection, we recommend travel insurance for this reason.

We are guaranteeing your arrival and usage of the cabin blocked out of our schedule with your credit card. Calling to bluster and spout will not change this strict policy, unfortunately, nor will trains, planes, automobiles, snow, or doctor’s notes!

Are there shuttle services? + -

There may be limited availability, but arrangements should be made in advance. As we are a mountain community, Uber and Lyft may have availability, but would need to be contacted directly, as availability is not guaranteed. Shuttle and taxi services are available closer to Denver, with limited availability in Evergreen.

Is smoking allowed in the cabins? + -

Effective January 1, 2021, the use of tobacco products are prohibited at The Cabins. Tobacco users are permitted to smoke in parking lots only. Cigars are prohibited including parking lots.

Can we use the hot tub in winter? + -

Yes, our hot tub is available year round. Occasionally it needs to be drained and cleaned and may need additional heating time.

Can we use candles? + -

Candles are not permitted in any of the cabins. Battery-operated candles are available upon request.

Is there cell phone coverage at the cabins? + -

Cell phone reception can be spotty. Some plans will have coverage while others will not.

What type of TVs / Channels are available? + -

All cabins are equipped with modern Smart TVs, with Google Chromecasts for a variety of viewing options. Live Channels/Cable TV is included, via the Hulu app. You’re welcome to log into any of the apps, including Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and more – using your personal login.

Is there Internet access in the cabins? + -

Complimentary internet service is provided throughout the property.  Since we are in the mountains, internet connection can be unstable / unavailable for short periods of time.

Is there air conditioning in the cabins? + -

There is no central air in the cabins, but being in the foothills we have cool mountain nights. We do supply AC units in the bedrooms and portable fans for added comfort.

What is supplied in the kitchens? + -

The kitchen is supplied with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, paper towels, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and a limited number of spices.

What is included in the gourmet kitchenettes? + -

Our gourmet kitchenettes have been designed to cater to your every need. The kitchens include a full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, plates, silverware, and glassware.

The kitchenettes do not include a bbq grill, stove or oven.

The Barn has a kitchenette. The other cabins offer fully equipped kitchens.

Do you allow pets? + -

Although we love our furry friends, they are not allowed in our cabins.

COVID-19 Cancellation / Reschedule Information + -

We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance if you are unsure you will be staying with us during the nights you reserved. We are unable to refund reservations for any reasons, including covid-related events or illnesses. We are able to reschedule your reservation to an available date upon request within a reasonable time frame. We are not responsible for delayed or cancelled flights.
